It's been a few days...
And I honestly don't know why -- other than the fact that each night has ended with great computer battles as opposed to nice relaxing ends of days -- which I would MUCH prefer.
So, movie du jour, Tuxedo! Whether you are a Jackie Chan fan or not, whether you are a Jennifer Love Hewitt fan or not, a flick that is def. worth seeing! It was great fun! Some of the stuff Jackie Chan does, as is normal for Jackie Chan, you just know took LOTS of rehearsals!
I was a tad disappointed that some of the stuff I bet Jackie could do with or without a tux was credited to the Tux... but then again, the film is called, The Tuxedo, not The Jackie Chan!

Today was a good day on the hobby front -- I'm a writer after all, so wouldn't you expect me to have a hobby that has something to do with writing and stories evolving? In this case I'm trying to write the story of my family, and see what there is to discover about where I came from. :)

I noted it over at the blog on PopArtsPlace.com but I am really enjoying Everwood.
I am hearing it is being compared to 7th Heaven, but I have never really tuned into 7th Heaven so I can't speak to that. What I can say is that it is good wholesome entertainment that keys off of something most people can relate to all too well -- a family full of people trying to figure out how to relate to one another, one day at a time.

Emmys tonight
Was it just me or were there a lot of oscar winning and oscar nominated film folks in the room? Ridley Scott, Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks? I think the list goes on in fact! Quite remarkable when you think about it.
In the past TV and Film were two distinct forms of entertainment and in the past few years it seems to be coming closer and closer together -- and producing some amazing stuff for TV and the Theater as a result!

LA Law: The Movie
It was like a wonderful two hour episode of LA Law! Just wonderful fun!
And Josie Davis was fantastic! She is a great actress, and she made more than the most of this role. She was very well cast.
The receptionist for the lawfirm was VERY familiar, but I can't place the face or come up with a name. Frustrating -- but if that's the only thing that left me frustrated that ain't bad at all!
