Prepping for a two week research trip -- I'm gonna keep this one short, but wanted to make sure I noted that I'd be on the road for two weeks, hopefully with at least some internet access. :)

We've all got hobbies, and as I've mentioned before, one of mine is Genealogy. I love finding out the story of my family, my kin, where we come from and what kind of people we are.
I've recently been having a great deal of fun in the 1900 census, and figured I'd go ahead and let others know how easy it is to get tapped in to the census records:

Lookin' forward to That Was Then tomorrow night! ;)
I missed the premiere last week, but am hopeful that tomorrow night's episode will be easy to step into and not feel like I had missed out on a lot of important story points last week.
Then again ... let's see what they say happened last week This could be the start of something fun!

A good night on CBS.
I have to admit, JAG, the Guardian (with a wonderful performace by Andrew Lawrence) and Judging Amy all delivered and delivered well tonight!
Beyond that my day was spent working on PopArtsPlace.com.

The weekend...
Well, as you may have noticed, no blog entries to speak of over the weekend. I went to the Texas State Fair. I've never really BEEN to a state fair before. I went to the Texas State Fair two years ago with some friends, but they only wanted to do the auto show, and even this year I didn't go on any rides... but I saw all the famous booths where you can try and win a prize for your kid of girlfriend etc. It was my first real state fair experience.
I went to the state fair at Disneyland when I was a kid -- and I think Disneyland's state fair had more fun to it. People were enthusiastic and calling out and they all really wanted to be there -- then again, it wasn't 95 degrees out either. :) I think the weather works against the state fair of Texas! ;)
That said it was a load of fun. There are entertainers roaming around and LOTS of fun to be had!
