There are some revelations a gal could do without!

While a 5 day pass to Disneyland may be one of the universe's cooler inventions, the discovery that I am not physically fit enough to survive 3 days walking and traipsing about Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure was not a heart warming discovery.

Thankfully after the third day I had a day to rest, recover, and reclaim my wits before a half day at the park, then another day to recover before one last day to enjoy all I could before calling my time there at an end.

Disneyland is almost as much fun as it was when I was a kid, though I found I now notice the efforts they put into making the park just look cool! It was a wonderful experience to walk through the Bug's Land portion in California Adventure, and see the groves of nut trees etc.

As for Celiac friendly food -- I found a new hero... Aaron at the Grand Californian Hotel's Storyteller Cafe! He makes the most wonderful tasting food, and it LOOKS like everyone elses! The man even persuaded me to try a carrot muffin -- and I liked it!

So now I'm home, resting and recovering from a week of reliving my teenage years, and hoping to settle back into some writing soon.

For those wondering -- I did manage to get a pic taken of the length of my hair this week, and hope to have it online soon... I know, I have been promising to make the effort since September, but now that the pic is taken, getting it online should be the easier half! It is nearly to my ankles! (That might explain how I managed to step on it two days ago. Might.)
